Personal Information Protection Measures
Recognizing the importance of personal information protection, the Company takes the following measures to ensure the proper and secure handling of personal information acquired and used in its operations, safeguard customer information, and uphold public trust.
When handling personal information, the Company clearly defines its usage purposes within the scope necessary for business operations, publicizes or notifies such scope, and strictly refrains from using the information for any unintended purposes.
Obtained personal information may be used for the following:
a) Responding to inquiries
b) Providing the Company’s products, services and related information
c) Managing contractual relationships with business partners
d) Employee recruitment, benefits provision and personnel management
When outsourcing personal information handling, the Company only selects vendors verified to properly manage personal information. It also exercises proper oversight through written agreements, ensuring vendors maintain information security, confidentiality, and a ban on sub-subcontracting.
When sharing personal information with Group companies, the Company publicly notifies in advance: (1) the items of personal information to be shared, (2) authorized users, (3) sharing purposes, and (4) the person responsible for information management.
The Company will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without the principal’s consent, except in the following cases:
Pursuant to legal provisions;
When necessary to protect human life, health or property, and the principal’s consent cannot be easily obtained;
When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote children’s sound development, and the principal’s consent cannot be easily obtained;
When required to cooperate with national or local government entities (or their authorized agents) in performing legal duties, where obtaining the principal’s consent would hinder such performance.
The Company strictly manages all personal information in its possession. After the usage purposes are fulfilled, the information will be safely returned or destroyed in a timely manner.
In line with the Company’s Information Security Policy, the Company implements reasonable and appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, falsification or leakage of personal information.
The Company strictly complies with Japanese laws, regulations and other rules regarding personal information protection.
The Company continuously reviews and improves its personal information protection system.
The Company assumes no responsibility for the handling of personal information by other businesses or personal websites linked to this site.
